Ice Show Qualifications Information
All EPFS Club Members and most Learn To Skate students are welcome to register for the show. The following are requirements
Ice Show Small Group & Solo Qualifications
Skaters who wish to participate in small group numbers in the annual Ice Show, must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a home club member of EPFSC in good standing for at least 1 full year,
- Pass the U.S. Figure Skating Pre-Bronze Singles test, and
- Skate a minimum of 100 hours on EPFSC club ice during the past year. The ice show qualifying year is December 1 - November 30th.
For a skater to be eligible for a solo in the ice show, the skater must meet all the above criteria for small groups, plus:
- Pass the U.S. Figure Skating Pre-Silver Singles test,
- Be in 7th grade and above, and
- Compete in two Singles events and attempt one U.S. Figure Skating test during the past year.
- High School seniors may be given flexibility in these requirements in recognition of their final ice show.
Solos will be awarded to approximately eight skaters based on priority groups and point totals. Small groups will be assigned at the discretion of the ice show director for the remaining eligible skaters.
